“Why am I drained after work—when I barely did anything?”

“Why am I drained after work—when I barely did anything?”

Because what you’re doing isn’t fulfilling.

Let me ask you…

Is work your whole life? Do you carve out time for hobbies, passions, or meaningful connection?

You can’t live in isolation, fill your day with tasks that don’t serve your purpose, and expect to feel energized.

Energy flows toward what lights you up—not what dims you down.

If you’re constantly doing things that drain you and you don’t offset it with what fuels you, don’t be surprised when you run out of steam.

👉Try this instead:

  1. Write down 5 things you enjoy doing- or used to love doing when you were younger
  2. Incorporate at least one of these 3x a week (even if for an hour)
  3. Create a long term career plan for yourself- centered around your desires and values.

❗️Be honest with yourself. Your plan should feel fun, exciting, and like “relief”

  1. Briefly map out how you’ll work toward it over an x amount of time
  2. Go for a 20 min walk to clear your head.

Remember: energy grows where passion flows.
